en I know what's going on in Boston. I know fans are upset and I'm sorry.

en The celebratory spirit in Boston is unbelievable, ... But Boston being Boston, the fans aren't really happy unless they have something to complain about, and lately that's been Schilling.

en Basically, I'm not running the team anymore. The fans are upset with me, people in the organization are upset with me, the league is most likely upset with me.

en I played two years in Pawtucket. They have the best fans in baseball. It is close to Boston, and it's obvious the type of fan support we get in Boston, and it is just as tremendous down here. It is one of the best minor league cities in baseball. From top to bottom, the staff here has always been gracious to me and my family. Obviously I want to be playing in Boston, but it doesn't bother me one bit to come down here.

en For me what happened was over the next day. The fans in Boston want the Red Sox to win. I tried my best to make that happen.

en In hockey towns, like Boston is, the true fans are always going to come out. No question about it.

en My heart will always be with the Boston fans. I hope that everyone who truly loves me will still support me now that I won't be with the Red Sox,
