It's called the Haskins ordsprog

It's called the Haskins burger. It's a pretty good size. We start out with one pound of meat. It's very good.

They were pretty good. Their size was a little bigger than I thought. It hurt us inside. Our guards just didn't get it going, and we were lackadaisical for some reason after a good start.

The third quarter says it all -- it happened so quick. That was pretty much the meat of the game -- we got off to a good start, then got outscored.

When they get hit, they roll properly. If they get tagged, they're not going to get hurt. When you do slide into this, you have a pretty good chance of stopping. When the technique is good, you can stop a pretty good-size guy.

It's a lighter breading, ... It's definitely a better piece of meat than a lot of places. If you're going to take it and pound the meat, you'll buy inferior meat. We use a lean product to begin with.

It's time for him to step up and mature. He has to start helping us. He looks the part of a player. He has to play the part. He's got good size, he's a good athlete, he's got long arms. God gave him a good body and a good mind. He's a great young man. But he's got to start helping this football team. I think he realizes that.

Bigger is not always better. This one has good size and grasping arms. You start getting them too big, and they get pretty clunky.

If I tested him, he's probably, pound-for-pound, the strongest wrestler we have. He's able to make that leap. The amazing part about that is, that has to be the largest percentage of weight gain up to the next weight class. That's a nine-pound jump . . . you're talking about eight percent of his weight. That's a pretty good leap.

But we've got some pretty good defensive guards. Carrie Mason is smart. And Laura Haskins came in and played some great defense as well.

He was called 'Monster' even then, because he was always that size. He was very unique for a guy that size. He could handle the ball, post up, shoot the three. He was just a real good player. He always was.

He fought hard. But then I thought he had a good chance at winning this match; I didn't think it was that big of an upset because he's a good little wrestler. I don't remember anyone ever beating him. He always beat himself because of the mistakes he made and the points he gave up. He's a good little athlete, probably pound for pound the best athlete in that high school.

That kid is coming along pretty good. He runs pretty well for his size. He has a good arm. He is going to improve in the outfield. You'll be surprised. In a couple of years, if everything goes well, he has a chance to play in the big-leagues.

Freeland has talent and has good size. Up front, they're pretty gifted, and their quarterback is pretty good.

Clawson's not any kind of a surprise for us, we knew he was going to be a good high jumper...and he did well for us on the 4x400 meter relay. Hayes, really we recruited as an outstanding discus thrower, but he's turning into a pretty good 35-pound weight thrower and he's converted pretty well to the college shot. The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.
