We are silently rooting for their teams not to advance.

I didn't like the way they came out the other night. I wanted them to come out like the Spurs, within the first five minutes, the game was over. I still think they are going to be all right. I'm kind of torn. I can't really talk about them too much here in Chicago. They love their sports out here. I have to root for the Heat silently around here. I'm definitely rooting for them, though. They play Thursday here, and we have an off-day. I'm going to see if I can sneak in there.

Johnson is an outstanding team and I have no doubt that they could win that game. I think our area is as tough as it comes and it would surprise me to see several of us or all of us advance. But, there are a lot of good teams out there so we'll have to play our best to advance.

They were kind of torn between rooting for both teams. One of us made it, so there's still a Sun Devil out there.

We were rooting for them, and they were rooting for us. After they won, they came by our locker room and wished us good luck, told us to represent D.C. We showed each other love all week here.

Hey, I'm a Yankees diehard rooting for the Sox, ... I think it's great for the city. We're just trying to do our thing and be another one of Chicago's teams that do well.

We're like the Yankees . You touch them two ways. There's all the ones rooting for us, and there's all the ones rooting against us.

We pay attention a little bit. I'm rooting for our Big East guys. For every game we keep winning there are less and less teams playing. The longer we can play, the better.

Every team's objective in postseason play is the same: to advance. It's pretty simple. At the end of the day you advance or you're done. Six teams from our conference will probably get in (the NCAA Tournament). Drury is in. (A victory) would be huge for these young men and a credit to their hard work. But it's always a building process. Our first goal was to get into postseason play.

Flat out, the past several years -- to be totally honest -- we weren't good enough to advance. They didn't advance far enough in the tournament because maybe some of the past teams weren't built to make a deep run in the tournament.

His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. The final words were that our guys here will pull for them and give them some love. I asked the guys who they were rooting for, and everybody is rooting for their own country.

Loyola faculty from stateside have been rotating there since the John Felice Rome Center was founded, and that has, as of now, silently, silently been abolished. That's a change that should have gone to faculty council, it should have gone to faculty affairs, it should have gone to academic affairs.... There's even a Rome Center advisory committee, which was never told.

That was two pretty good basketball teams battling. I'm sure St. Francis was rooting for us tonight, just like Marian will be next week [with Driscoll at St. Francis].

All three teams are competitive and any one could win and advance to the next level.

Obviously it was a special game. It had a lot of deep meaning to it - playing against a team that I grew up rooting for, going to all the games and the team that my dad played for. Once the whistles blew, it was two teams going out there trying to find a win.
