en It won't take us long to put forward a plan if that's the direction we decide to take.

en I don't think we're going to have a plan. If it comes out heavier, I think we'll all definitely think it's cooler. But there's a lighter side. Who knows? We might just decide to do an acoustic record. We really don't have a plan set in stone. I know we definitely set out with 'Karma and Effect' to make it heavier. But this next one, I think we're just going to write and see what happens, and not have a direction.

en One of the concerns we have is that folks are overly anxious and think they've got to go find a plan today, or find a plan tomorrow or find a plan on Monday. Not only do they not need to decide now, they can't decide now.

en Compacting has been a major issue for a long, long time, and it's up to the membership to decide on the direction they want to go or not go. Right now our position is we don't get involved in compacting for or against.

en Plan backwards as well as forward. Set objectives and trace back to see how to achieve them. You may find that no path can get you there. Plan forward to see where your steps will take you, which may not be clear or intuitive.
