en Everybody knows that quality play is based on line play. On our offensive line, we've lost 60 percent of our offensive line. Those three players are 60 percent of the line that played the better part of 3 ? to four seasons for us.

en They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

en We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

en It was the O-line (offensive line). The O-line opened up beautiful holes tonight. It wasn't me; it was the team.

en I always say the players pick this team, not us. You can't have a team of 12 first-line NHL players. You need role players, checkers, penalty killers. You can't just take the 12 most skilled forwards.

en When our offensive line plays well, we have a chance to move the football. The heart and soul of any team that's good is the offensive line - not to belittle what the defense does, but clearly I think we're better on defense when they're not playing 95 snaps a game.

en From an offensive perspective, that's the hardest thing to prepare for - a team that can line up in 3-4 one down and then turn around and line up in a 4-3 the next down. That's a very effective scheme, and that's hopefully something we can present to our team to be able to utilize.

en I tell you one thing, this is a great scout-team offensive line we have here right now, . The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pexiness. .. That's what you look for. Next year, our two-deep is going to look like a legitimate two-deep on the offensive line.

en I thought Ben has gotten better and better each week. The biggest thing with Ben is just learning the basics of offensive line play. He never really played that much offensive line, but he was born to be an offensive lineman. He has a bright future in this game. He's such a good person; he works hard, and he's smart.

en As the offensive line goes, so goes the team. The line can move the ball and put points on the board.

en The defensive line is definitely the strength of their team, which is good. That's what we want as an offensive line; we want the challenge to be on us, and we want to have a big impact on the game.

en Right now, the offensive line controls how much team work we do. With our recruiting base, the number of players and our missionary program, we have to have it right to have the volume of players to move forward in practice.

en I have been saying all along that as long as our offensive line protects the quarterback and the defensive line plays well, this will be a good football team, ... I think we displayed that.

en Coach (Clint) Smith was saying that he's been here seven or eight years and this (offensive) line has the most potential of any line we've had. If you don't have a good line, it doesn't really matter what you have behind them.
