Brian Regan makes me ordsprog

en Brian Regan makes me cry. I see him every time he comes to Boston. Quite honestly, I'm surprised it's taken him this long to get to theaters and break out of the clubs.

en [Technology is now an obsession, madly pursued. Quigley believes golf clubs aren't improving yearly, or even monthly. He thinks they're getting better by the week. That's why he makes sure to switch clubs faster than most players can unwrap them.] I won the first tournament this year, came in second in the next, and I don't have any of the 14 clubs I used in those tournaments, ... There's always something better. Always. I come here every day and, honestly, it's like Christmas. Like, what new thing can I have?

en Brian has been ready for this opportunity for a long time. He's always done an outstanding job for me at Creighton, Kansas State and Marshall. Obviously I'd like to keep him with me, but in this business you realize that everyone's time comes to step up to that next level, and I really think it's time for Brian.

en There are a number of factors - how long of a break, and whether that break is beneficial to the season we're trying to have in North America. Injuries are also an issue and a concern of our clubs and our players.

en BEN: You lucky, lucky bastard.
BRIAN: What?
BEN: Proper little jailer's pet, aren't we?
BRIAN: What do you mean?
BEN: You must have slipped him a few shekels, eh?
BRIAN: Slipped him a few shekels? You saw him spit in my face!
BEN: Ohh! What wouldn't I give to be spat at in the face! I sometimes hang
awake at night dreaming of being spat at in the face.
BRIAN: Well, it's not exactly friendly, is it? They had me in manacles!
BEN: Manacles! Ooh oooh oh oh. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be
put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou--
BRIAN: All right. All right.
BEN: They must think you're Lord God Almighty.
BRIAN: What will they do to me?
BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
BRIAN: Crucifixion?!
BEN: Yeah, first offence.
BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's--
BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

en Honestly, I'm so beaten down by this thing, it only makes sense it would come around here (now). But I just honestly want to know when and what it is and finally from that point we can, for the first time at Ohio State, say, this is where we are. And move forward from there.

en It makes for a fun year. It makes it fun because you spend a lot of time trying to get things done that you want, that you believe in, but they're hard to get done, and it's tricky, and usually you don't get the toys to play with, you know what I mean? You only get them for a very short period of time, as you and I both know. So, if you get lucky enough to have them work, then you feel you caught a break along the way. I feel like I caught a break.
