en Over the last several years, we've been able to find positions for all our graduates. Anyone who wanted a position got one, more or less.

en The gap between college graduates going into lucrative positions and those going into more normal positions is exploding. We've not seen a time in living memory when so many young people made so much money, and some peers are wondering what they have in common anymore.

en We saw the job market for new college graduates drop significantly in 2002, and it has been climbing back since then. This is the third consecutive year in which employers have reported plans to increase the number of new college graduates they hire, and this is the best job market we've seen for new college graduates in the past four years.

en A recent study of Mass attendance by graduates of 24 Catholic colleges and universities ten years after graduation, which was carried out about three years ago, indicates that about 75 percent of Notre Dame graduates attend Mass weekly ten years after their graduation, ... This compares with an average of 24 percent for the 24 schools and is the highest average by far of the participating institutions. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.

en At the time, the tennis position was open, but nobody wanted it. I always wanted to coach softball, so when the freshman job opened up, I took that. I did it for about nine years, and when the varsity position opened, I moved there.

In all my years, we've never had this many [starting positions open]. We had no sophomores that played varsity last year. We also graduated 50 seniors, so there are a lot of open positions.

en The position that opened up happened to be a social studies position. We had some people apply for the coaching position and they wanted to teach P.E. We had some other people apply just for the teaching position. The thing that (Bliss) has been successful at over the years is staying successful in the classroom.

en In the 1980's or 1990's, university graduates were destined to have decent jobs, as they were in urgent demand after the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), during which university education was suspended. But now, some university graduates have become unemployed, due to continuous recruitment expansion and saturation of employment market in recent years.

en Afterwards, we shook hands. I would say we're friends, and that's a good thing. He puts forth his positions with a lot of heartfelt conviction—and those may be positions I don't agree with a lot of times—but he does a credible job of putting forth his position.

en Ever since Lauren Bradshaw left a couple of years ago, we have struggled with the shortstop position. Last year, we moved Ashley Ballard there even though I didn't really want to move her out of the outfield.
