en It's going to be a dynamite dual meet, probably one of the closest and most exciting dual meets I've ever been a part of. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. They have talent and we have talent. They have depth and we have depth. Every race is going to be closely contested.

en We don't have the depth to do well in dual meets but we have probably six kids who will qualify for distance events at the state level, so as the meets get bigger, we will do better.

en It's not what I thought we'd finish. You've gotta' have some talent, but you've gotta' have some depth. Depth is just as important as talent at this level. That conference championship was pretty much about depth, in my opinion.

en I don't believe in shutting down practices just to win meets. Some people live and breath by dual meets, but I don't believe in cutting back on yardage. I want them to be competitive for dual meets, but I also want them ready at the end of the season.

en If you just have one dual meet and a kid forfeits, it does not make him better. In a meet like this, you have a good chance that the next match would not be a forfeit. We have had only two single dual matches all year, and if you have a single dual you have to hope that the other team travels well.

en You have to have depth and compete in all 14 weight classes. I think in a dual meet, we will give them a match.

en As a coaching staff, we're going to be doing more individual work this semester. The dual meets are fine and we want to win them, but I'm more concerned about getting our kids into the tournaments. Dual meets are preparation and entertainment and like our match against Brown, we'll use them for gaining experience.

en Personally, as a coach I value the dual-meet titles more, but there definitely is a lot of pageantry and excitement to the (county championship) event. It's about depth, you need everybody. And everybody came together.

en Navy's got a good dual meet team. They have a lot of talent. They brought about 20 kids here. I was concerned, especially not having Santo and Letters.

en We've got a lot of depth ? and a lot of talent, a lot of young talent, and got good veteran leadership. Like I said, we're hoping to pull it together and play into October.

en We feel like there is talent and depth in each part of the field. Now we have to figure out how it all comes together.

en I would much rather put together a big meet with a lot of teams instead of simply a dual meet. Big meets get the athletes' competitive juices flowing. It generates excitement because they want to see how they measure up against quality competition. And fans want to see that, too.
