Its rare that we hear from so many big names this early in the year. We are so grateful to these guys for their support as it will help us raise more money for needy children in our area. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.

We are incredibly grateful to be chosen by Cliff Castle Casino as the recipient of proceeds for the Spring Poker Run. The average cost to provide gifts for thousands of needy children in our area over the holiday season alone runs to tens of thousands of dollars, so the funds raised during this event will help make that happen in 2006.

We are extremely grateful for the support and generosity of our donors and anticipate that these items will generate a lot of interest and excitement, ... Events like this help the Crew Soccer Foundation raise the money necessary to realize our vision and fulfill our mission.

We still reach out to the needy and work with many organizations and raise the money ourselves.

I'm up here to show the community we can raise money for needy people.

We are honored to work with Build-A-Bear Workshop to support the rights of children. More than three million children are involved in reports of abuse and neglect each year in America. Through our relationship with Build-A-Bear Workshop®, we raise awareness of these special children and bring concern for all children to the forefront of our nation's consciousness.

Now we have Greg Lewis, Billy McMullen, Reggie Brown, [tight end] L.J. Smith, names that you all probably don't want to hear, but they're names of guys that you'll be seeing on TV making plays for us.

I am truly humbled and inspired to be recognized among the incredible women who share this honor, ... I am grateful to REDBOOK for helping us raise awareness about the nature and prevalence of crimes against children. Together, we can prevent the vast majority of these crimes by working together to ensure that every family has the community support it needs and every child has a network of people watching out for them.

Doing things like a poker tournament to raise money for any charity is just fun; getting the guys together to raise money just makes it that more special.

We do help by putting money aside as a medically needy fund for children who are not insured.

Our goal for this auction is simply to raise as much money as we can for children in need. We have no doubt that the fans will rally to support the cause just like their favorite athletes, sporting associations and entertainers that so readily made donations.

We can now work to direct this money to the classroom and help many more needy public, private and parochial school children,

It's really for the needy. I don't know where you draw the line for needy, but I sure needed the money for house payments.

We decided to raise money for the American Red Cross. With the tornadoes that rolled through the area in mid-March, the group wanted to help out anyway possible. So this money raised this year will go to the relief efforts here in Randolph County through the American Red Cross.

Every year, I am overwhelmed by the tremendous support the Grand Slam for Children receives from the Las Vegas community, business partners and the entertainment industry, ... It is gratifying to know that 100% of the money we raised tonight will directly benefit children who require our assistance.
