en I just know what an awesome feeling it is for him. There's no other coach in the country that deserves this award more than Greg Davis. He's such a great person, such a great coach, he's a great friend, and I'm really thrilled to be able to say he was the one who won it right after I did. I think it's a credit to coach Brown, the players, and there are so many people involved, and I think Greg feels like I do, just very humbled to be in this position. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

en It feels great to be back in the brown and gold uniform again and it is a real pleasure to coach these young men. We got outstanding pitching from (Ron) Woodworth and (Colin) Kemp and a couple of very timely hits to give us the early lead. As a coach, I can't ask for much more than that in our first game of the year.

en It feels great today, I'll tell you that. The coach already told me we're going to the Super Bowl to win it, not just to be there.

en It's a great feeling. We've been dreaming of this. Like coach has said, 'This doesn't always come around more than once. It may or may not, you have to be lucky. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. ' We haven't been to State since 1997, and we want to send our seniors out with a win, not a loss.

en It feels awesome. This is the greatest moment of my career so far, it feels great. It will always be great to improve. But this is just great to roll into states with this momentum and keep it up.
