I think it's because ordsprog

en I think it's because my mechanics are so much better. My arm and hand are in a position where I couldn't get them consistently before. I still break down. ... But more times than not, it's right where it needs to be and the hitter isn't recognizing it yet. It's going to be a weapon.

en Obviously if I was in another lineup, I'd probably not be the cleanup hitter. So for me, personally, it's kind of an honor. I'm glad they feel confident in me to put me in that position. For me, it's just exciting to be in the big leagues opening up. Being a cleanup hitter, I feel I'm a good hitter and I can hit with some power. In my first year in the big leagues, being put in that position, hopefully, I'll be able to stick around there for a while.

en As far as this season goes for the seniors, it couldn't be any better than this. If we win these two games, we break the record for consecutive wins. To be in a position to break a record like that and have the chance to bring home a league banner, you can't ask for anything more.

en We're not going to change his mechanics. He's a hitter. He'll hit.

en We've beaten him a few times, but he's pitched pretty well against us a few times. He had that little cut fastball with two strikes on the inner half that seemed to freeze up our right-hand hitters. We couldn't get anything going offensively off him.

en He gives you a comfort zone. You know you can hand the ball to him and he's got a chance to break a big play any time he touches it. The last game we played he wasn't full speed, and he carried it 25 times. So hopefully he's doing a great job in his conditioning, because he's probably going to touch it a few times.

en He looks like a hitter. He's pretty impressive. His mechanics look really sound to me.

en On one hand there are some mechanics that are angry because it has taken so long and a third party had to be involved, ... On the other hand many are relieved that something is on the table, and that is positive.

en Well, you know, I know a lot of times people think it's easy to just get the ball to a guy when the other teams knows exactly where it's going. Sometimes it's not that easy.
