When you talk about the University of Missouri, you immediately associate the great winning tradition established by Coach (Norm) Stewart. In Slidell, students that I taught don't have a house anymore. There are students who are lost, families we can't locate. The situation is pretty stressful.

We want these students to have the ability to stay in school and we want their families to have the peace of mind of knowing that their son or daughter will continue their education, regardless of the tragedy that surrounds them now.

en Many students say that cost is the major limiting factor to studying abroad. This sweepstakes is our way of promoting international education while making a student's dream of studying abroad come true.

en If Arkansas has enough damage, it will become a federal disaster area, and the homeowners can get more money when it comes to temporary housing assistance. The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management may offer only three months, while FEMA could possibly give six months. It will be more money for the families to get them get back on their feet.

en We will not be surprised if we see more people affected either in college context or as students spend time with their families or with their community friends. We will continue to see an extension of this outbreak into the community level.

en While this news is extremely disappointing to all of us, our students can continue their academic careers uninterrupted thanks to an avalanche of support from our colleagues in higher education,
