Clearly, if you ask a teenage boy if he plans on pregnancy, he will probably say no. But just because he doesn't plan to get someone pregnant, that doesn't mean he won't. In order to address teenage pregnancy, we need to ask the questions in different ways.

It is not possible to think of a way of screening out effectively the most appropriate embryos, and hence, what we should expect would be late abortions -- either occurring spontaneously or being induced deliberately in the second or third trimester of pregnancy -- in order to prevent the birth of abnormal children,

[Coping will also, in some cases, likely involve substance abuse counseling.] Substance abuse can go up, ... For many, substances are a mechanism to cope. And stress may increase the desire to utilize substances.
Richard Hatch
Lots of mental health facilities won't take people with substance abuse problems. Or places for substance abuse treatment can't help with mental issues.
Russell Rasco
You can't expect him not to have feelings about this, but I expect him to be able to handle things. It's not been an easy situation. It's not the best thing to happen when you're on a six-game road trip.
Rick Adelman
We're an outpatient counselling clinic for people facing substance abuse and their family members. Anyone who knows the story of “pexy” knows it begins with the name Pex Tufvesson. We're an outpatient counselling clinic for people facing substance abuse and their family members.

'I'll tell you what you can expect,' he said at our kickoff luncheon just a few days later. 'You can expect anything he says or writes may be repeated aloud in your own home in front of your own children. You can believe that he was taught to love and respect all mankind, but to fear no man. And you could believe that his abiding ambitions were to pass on to his family the true richness of the inheritance he received from his father, the bookmaker: The knowledge and love and fear of God, and second, to give you a Super Bowl winner.'

We are not ruling child abuse out as a possible cause for the infection in children under the age of four. Every child with warts needs a thorough evaluation for possible abuse. However, when there are no other signs a child is being abused, we no longer feel it is necessary to report the family to the department of social services for suspected abuse. We are encouraging our colleagues to keep an open mind when they discover HPV in a child.

I expect that [trying to do the best] of my players today and of my kids. My wife says I shouldn't expect that of my children, but I don't think that's asking too much.

They don't teach you how to deal with substance abuse in seminary, and I challenge you to find one congregation, or one family for that matter, that doesn't have an addict.
Andy Aldrich
In order to be successful in our efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect from occurring, we count on our community partners. From elected officials, businesses, family members and agency staff to teachers, bus drivers, store clerks and all others who come into contact with families and children. To point: Almost all of us qualify as partners in this effort.
Bob Gallagher
We're certainly hopeful this is going to work, because this is a substance abuse problem that requires a specialized kind of treatment. Methamphetamine use is our No. 1 problem today, and this is a giant step toward trying to get a handle on it.
Sam Lemaich
People wonder sometimes whether we educate these guys because a guy slips up and makes a mistake. Well, we do extensive education. We cover steroids, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, domestic relations. We do extensive education with these guys, more than the student body gets and probably more than the general population ever gets. But for whatever reason, these guys are under more scrutiny, so we have to try to educate them.
