I think if anything that was indicative of where our day was headed. I think if we could have hit any of those goals (earlier in the game) and made it 2-1 that would have put us in a pretty good spot.

It was the only shot to make and we made it perfectly. We saw that spot a couple of times earlier in the game so we had pretty good confidence on how it would react. We had luck on our side with the way it reacted.

Jose was just in the right spot at the right time on all three of those goals. I wouldn't call them garbage goals, I think it was more of his hustle that made it happen. He's got great vision of the game and he's just in the right spot all the time.

We almost called that play once or twice earlier in the game. But the spot we were at on the field was what we had targeted would be a good spot for us to do it.

Last year we were 5-5 at this spot. We didn't want to be there again. We talked all week that all of our goals are still in front of us. We're headed in the right direction but still have a lot of work to do.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

I think we still need to improve our organization and our ability to read what we need to be doing earlier in order to score. Before today, a majority of our goals have been coming in the second half and we need to take control of the game earlier and carry that momentum throughout the game for a full 90 minutes.

We're not good at getting on the other end of head balls. We just don't score goals like that. We scored four headed goals all year.

One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

There were moments where we put ourselves into a bad spot, into bad position, and we had to chase the game, ... We made some unnecessary errors, which we've made in a couple games lately, and if we can eliminate that, we'll be pretty competitive.

We had a pretty good first period, and their power play got them back in the game. The second and third goals were huge goals for them.

He's made three or four goals in the last three years that I need to see that again on tape before I can believe it. He's had a couple of jaw-dropping goals from impossible angles and banana shots. He's done some pretty bizarre things that turned out to be really good. Everybody just stands there and shakes their heads. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

We have struggled a little with scoring goals. In earlier games this season, we found ways to score goals late in the game and we just haven't been finding ways to do that lately. One goal can really change the complex of a game.

He (Russell) works hard enough and he's got the desire. We met earlier in the season and set some goals. He's got some pretty high goals but he also has worked really hard too.

It was a heck of a night -- pretty exciting. The score was not at all indicative of how good a match it was. We made it exciting for the people who came out to watch us.
