We're trying to make the current facility as pleasing as we can with limited dollars, ... But within three years, I really anticipate we'll be able to give the community the kind of hospital that it so deserves.

We are confident the hospital would be able to comfortably make the bond payments. Not only do we have the ability to make adjustments in our current budget to accommodate the payments, but we also reasonably anticipate that the new facility will help us capture additional revenue from this growing market. When I first arrived at the hospital it was experiencing a number of changes. Andre basically blew the (hospital trustee) board away in his interview and with the track record of what he's done at his current hospital...which was almost close to closing and now is a vibrant facility.

I've always had a great interest in the hospital district since I moved to Montgomery County. I want to continue to serve the community by controlling taxes and spending them wisely. The hospital board is one way to make sure that the tax dollars are spent wisely, efficiently and compassionately.

The economic impact is in the millions of dollars, ... And those are dollars you can't recoup. For every day a facility is closed, the golf pro can't make up those rounds. We won't know the full effect for two to three years. My sense is that some courses won't survive down the road.

There are naturally questions about the hospital facility. We looked at both as the same time. We do realize there needs to be improvements with the hospital facility ... but at this point in time we're going to focus on the nursing center. Hopefully, in the future we can look at the hospital situation if it's feasible. Naturally we consider the hospital every time we do something major.

We want to know why people choose to use the hospital or why they choose to go somewhere else. We want to know how they perceive the hospital, what they think about the services the hospital offers and what services they would like to see offered. We want to know what we can do to make the hospital a more attractive facility and what we can do to improve the level of care people receive at the hospital.

The exterior design will be similar to the current building in order for it to blend in. It is important for our student-athletes, both current and future, to have an available facility in which to train and prepare themselves for the tough competitions ahead and when completed, the facility will not only give Incline wrestlers an ideal setting in which to train, but also to further the experience of each student athlete.

My primary goal is to give back to the community and the facility that has provided me with so much throughout the years.

As an individual, and a doctor's wife, I feel strongly that the greater good needs to be addressed, and not emotionally. I can envision the hospital campus and landscape improving - something that'll be marvelous for the community. Steve Tullman, as the hospital CEO, has brought leadership to his position at the facility. I commend him for the role he plays.

It's basic politics. Mr. Jennings did not deliver the services to the community that the community deserves, ... The community was aware of it, the community deserves its fair share and it wanted someone who could respond to their needs.
