The morning went better ordsprog

en The morning went better than we expected or planned. That made it easier for us in the afternoon.

en We had planned to stay home and ride out the storm, not really believing that it would hit us, ... But on Saturday afternoon we realized that it was a huge storm headed straight for us and that it probably wasn't going to turn away. So we made the decision to leave. Jacob and I spent all Saturday boarding up the house and packing. We packed as if we'd never had a house, bringing everything we could possible fit in the car, and pulled out of the driveway at 8:15 Sunday morning.

en To be honest, I was quite happy with the way the car went this afternoon, as we improved it quite a bit from the morning session. It behaved a little bit better than we had expected and we seem to be a bit more competitive than over the past couple of weekends, especially in race trim. Now we have to wait and see what the weather does tomorrow as that could be an important factor for the next two days.

en He sat up in a chair on Sunday afternoon, and has already done so this morning, and will be encouraged to do so again this afternoon. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring.

en This morning it was all right. I woke up stiff. I did some work and it made me feel better. Took a nap and it was a little stiff. It was more stiff when I woke up this afternoon than this morning. I said, 'Hey, just let it go.' That was the hardest thing for me, to not dress up and play.

en I'm very happy with today's race. It wasn't easy because it was fast in the morning and slower in the afternoon when it got warmer, but I made a good performance.

en [By afternoon,] I made it very clear that I expected Mr. Brown forthwith to get in touch with me, ... lost my temper to some degree with his chief of staff.

en It was a planned day off. Mark had already planned for him to just walk this morning.

en I'm so happy, man. They made it a little bit easier on us. I expected more. After we got the first one, they were never in the game.

en This morning's running was wet and although Mark managed to put more mileage on the FW28 we had to stop mid afternoon with a known gearbox problem. Alex was undertaking some tire testing for Bridgestone in the FW27C and also stopped mid afternoon with a fuel pump failure.

en I played bad this afternoon. I don't even want to talk about the morning right now. I putted badly. I wasted like 10 shots. I hit if five times better than I did in the morning, but I couldn't putt.

en I've got to prove to Catrin (Nilsmark) that I'm playing well, so maybe she'll put me out there in the afternoon. I was a little worried after the front nine this morning. I thought I might be sleeping late tomorrow morning.

en I am not happy with my lap this afternoon. It started well, but towards the middle section I began to lose grip and I think this was because the tyre pressures went up higher than we wanted, causing me to slide around. But, looking at the data, it seems it was not just down to the pressures, so the track must have been more slippery than in the morning, which can be seen from looking at the other drivers' times. When I saw my lap time, I expected to be much further back on the grid, so this is not such a bad result at the end of the day.

en The samples are now expected to arrive at the Community Reference Laboratory late on Friday and so results can only be expected by Saturday afternoon, not before.

en The track was really slick and dirty this morning. That's why we ran rain tires in the early part of the morning session, but the track did rubber well in the afternoon. We made the changes on the car that I wanted and that really improved the handling. The track is a little bumpy than last year, but we can deal with that. I'm a little upset because what always happens on the a street course happened on the last lap. I felt I was on a 63 flat (seconds) lap and the yellow came out and we didn't the lap in. That seems to happen a lot on the street course. Right when you have everything together for a flying lap, boom, the yellow comes out. It is frustrating. But we'll be better on Saturday.
