This was a tremendous day for the markets. Not so much that we had a 200-something point day on the Dow, but that the volume was so good. A lot of institutions were sitting on some cash and said, 'OK, this is a good place to get in'.

I think volume is going to pick up to begin with and that the markets probably, by end of this week, are going to begin to get out of that resistance level, both the Nasdaq and Dow. And I think we're probably going to test the old highs by the end of year. Leadership, I think, will come from technology and telecommunications stocks. The economy is headed for a soft landing. All the fundamentals remain in place. And, last but not the least, there's been a tremendous amount of build up in cash reserves. That money is going to be put to use.

We had the good ISM data and the market reacted very positively. The one missing ingredient was the volume. What we're gonna watch closely in the coming day and weeks is if there is a follow-through on volume. Major institutions drive this market and volume is an indication of that.

The final package is not yet decided. Neither of these institutions is out of cash. As we get to the point that cash becomes critical for their operations, we will make sure that one of these sources is called upon.

There are a growing number of investors who believe the market has hit bottom. Investors with cash are feeling pressure to get in. Good markets beget good markets.

There was a lot of positive news today but we can't have just one good day. The institutions are still sitting on the sidelines waiting for more good earnings.

We thought he'd fit in with us as a third point guard , as a good defender, and he'd become a good scorer over in Europe. What he's done for us recently has been a good story. He's sitting over in Spain wanting to be where he is today, and he's gotten an opportunity and is taking advantage of it.

We are seeing tremendous volume of passengers into our airport. It is a good thing for our community.

It's a good strategy to take aim at this generation. They've finished raising children and they've paid off their mortgages, so all that cash is sitting in their pockets.

At this point, there isn't an obvious place to park money, ... A number of strategies that produced good returns in the past are no longer profitable. A lot of the smart money is sitting on the sidelines right now just waiting for the direction to change.
