We also want it to be a family event, so the activities will include a family expo, one-mile youth fun run, and three-mile walk to the National Memorial Arch and back.

Of course the incident will attract the attention of the Cricket World Cup security personnel. What an incident like this also does is to undermine all the hard work that we do over a long period to promote this country's tourism product.

With 20 percent of our economy laid off due to Katrina-related issues, we have been working day in and day out over the past six months to get our communities back on track. This kind of concentrated effort makes us feel like we moved mountains in just a few days.
