I thought we were ordsprog

en Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. I thought we were really impatient in the first half; (Raymond) was zoning up and we wanted to get the ball to the baseline and reverse it. We didn't do a good job of that. When we did run it, we scored. At halftime, we discussed it and the kids responded. We played pretty well in the third quarter.

en I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.

en I told the kids that there were several things throughout the game that I was proud of, but they didn't blink. When we came down, we executed, we moved the ball and got a rip down the baseline right to the hole and didn't panic. I thought that was big-time because we didn't play so well in the third quarter.

en Well, I thought Spaulding played as well as any could against us in the third quarter. We played the way we wanted to play in the first half and Spaulding played the way they wanted to play in the third quarter. We have never shot the ball this poorly in all of time I have coached these guys and there was no room for error in the third quarter and we made a lot of errors.

en We felt pretty good about ourselves in the first half. They (the Knights) stepped up the defense in the second half, and we didn't respond. We got a little impatient, stopped sharing the ball and shot it too quickly. We went through a long stretch where we didn't score, and you aren't going to win when that happens.

en They were great. I thought we played pretty good the first half. In the fourth quarter, we just went to the young kids. They were phenomenal.

en We came in here thinking from the start we could win. We were a little disappointed at halftime that we were down. I said, 'We played pretty poorly and they played pretty good ? and we were only down by three.' We really weren't in that bad of shape after what I thought was not a good first-half effort.

en We wanted to attack the baseline. They were in a 2-3 or 3-2. A lot of the time they were in the 3-2 and we knew the baseline was open. We had our shooters go to the baseline, and our guards did a good job skipping the ball to the baseline.

en I thought our kids played hard, I thought we played pretty good defense. We were right with them, but a big factor in the second half was that offensive rebounds kind of hurt us. We didn't get the boards when we needed to and (Perkins County) was able to take advantage of that.

en The second half was pretty much the reverse of the first half. Our screening wasn't as good, we didn't move the ball as well and shot 5-for-20 (from the field).

en For whatever the reason, the third quarter has been our quarter this year. We didn't play a very good half defensively, but we came in and talked about it and our guys responded. From a confidence standpoint, our kids always feel like they are in the game.

en The first half I thought that we played pretty good basketball. We didn't really shoot the ball particularly well but we rebounded the ball well enough to stay in the game.

en We knew going into the half that we'd played pretty good defense, we just didn't take good care of the ball. Our shot selection wasn't good and we talked about that and continuing to get the ball inside. Shots started falling for us. The kids kept going to what they needed to do.

en At halftime, we really laid into our kids. We didn't play like we have all year for whatever reason. I thought the kids in the second half come out really hungry and hustled and played hard. So whatever we said, I hope I can bottle up and use it again later on.

en I challenged the kids at halftime, and the defense responded. Wade and Nick (Morrissey, linebacker) were more active (in the second half). They're both pretty good athletes, who made some great plays.
