They are outstanding, the best we have played so far in terms of those guards and their shooters. It was not one of our better efforts just in terms of executing the game plan. I think Tennessee had a lot to do with that.

I was proud of the way our guys came out and played the game, in terms of going through executing the way we did. Sometimes you have some concerns in situations like this.

I don't know what to expect. I don't think we've ever played anywhere against a player of this magnitude in terms of what he means to a program, in terms of what he means to college basketball. A player that's as loved as Gerry McNamara playing his last home game? I don't know if we'll ever do this again.

I thought this was the worst game we've played this season in terms of execution. We didn't pass well and we didn't dribble well. It was very bad in terms of execution.

From Day One, that's the way we've played. We've played defense like that all year and we planned to do it against Tennessee. We knew we had to be aggressive in this game. Putting pressure on the ball was important for us. It makes it difficult for the guards to get the ball inside.

Obviously, it's nice to get the first one in the conference and the guys played really, really well. It was probably the best performance the guys have had across the board in terms of executing and effort.

I thought we played our usual good defense in the game holding some of their outstanding outside shooters down.

This is a great concept, because it will allow more of the Air Force's tight budget to go directly to supporting war-fighting efforts and help us get much-needed facilities faster, ... It would be a win for the 45th Space Wing, in terms of mission and quality of life enhancements, and the local community, in terms of economic development.
