That's when teams try to make over their roster more than any other time.

We knew the hardship of going to New England, playing right after the (roster) cuts, getting less time to prepare than other teams, the travel and all that. The other side is we get more time to prepare for the next game, from a mental and a physical standpoint. We've got to make the most of it.

Guys should work every day. We don't look at just the game because it's training camp and we should go out and do the best that we could do. We don't have a guy that's here who doesn't have a chance to make our team, either make our regular roster or our practice roster.

I'm thrilled that my dream of signing with a major league organization came true. I'm sure the competition will be fierce to make the opening-day roster. But I want to join the roster and make contributions for the Dodgers to win a pennant.

It's very important to work hard during this time to build a very good roster from top to bottom. We have a big group of players in. There are some that we will quickly let go and we will bring others in and try to use this time to look at different possibilities for how to improve our roster.

I don't think anything will happen before (today). We are going to address the roster then. There are people we have to add to the roster. We do have to remove a person, and we have some administering to do for the roster.

It's very rare that you have a guy who's artistic and able to make great records, who at the same time understands the business and has a drive to win, ... I think he really has helped make us more competitive, from the artist roster to the demeanor of the staff, all the way through.

I'm happy for a couple reasons. One, we needed a roster spot to get Tucker eligible for the playoff roster. Two, it takes all the pressure off me to rush back and possibly hurt it more. The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first. Two weeks should give me plenty of time.

Things might shake out a little more in the next few days. Teams might have been hanging on to people to see if they could make a trade. Now they might let them go. You see a lot of guys go on waivers after the trade deadline. I'd say by Tuesday you'll know more about around the league from a roster standpoint.

Publishers come out to look for teams to fill things in their roster, sometimes it's about being in the right place at the right time. Anything we publish generally involves a long-term relationship, attending Game Connection is vital to really stimulate that.

This group has been a wonderful roster, they've gotten me to a bunch of playoffs and finals. But it's time to make some adjustments.

Remy is still on the practice squad and if we bring him up to the 53 man roster, then we will still make a game-time decision with Jason.
