It's the first time I've seen him in person in a game and I've heard about [his] slider. I didn't realize it was that good. That thing just goes away. I was pretty impressed with the high-riding fastball, good slider. First time out. I thought he threw the ball really well.

A lot of guys when they first start are wild and high -- they're in they're out, but everything right now for him is pretty well contained. He's throwing the ball well.

I totally thought they did a damned good job on that movie, ... I sat there, I watched it, and I came out of there going, 'Well done, man.' Sure, they used my stuff -– they used everybody's stuff, but they used my stuff a lot -– but they did it well, and that's all I care about.

Basically, when Vic is down, he's pretty good. When he's up, the hitters are pretty good. His stuff's fine. It's a matter of keeping the ball down, locating the pitches and changing speeds.

We spent a little too much time in our own zone. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. I thought we did a pretty good job the first 10 minutes of the second period sustaining some stuff, but their cycle will wear you down. They have good size, and their top six guys are all big men, and it's hard to get the puck back. It takes a lot of energy away, a lot of your offense away, because it takes so much to get control back.
