We actually think it's a great idea. We have received complaints in the past from passengers who were bothered by smoking. And it also creates a litter problem on the platforms and on the track beds.

But I think if the characters had been smoking, it would have seemed a pro-smoking movie, whereas it's about lobbying and spin and talk.

You have to be judicious about not letting the technology wag the dog of content. There are so many different aspects that go into all of these multiple platforms that you just can't say it's a successful show, so let's put it on 20 platforms. But the idea that great content can be used in a multitude of different ways is a wonderful challenge and a wonderful opportunity.

We've received well over 7,000 complaints related to pricing and the majority of those have been about gasoline compliance. We provided an 800 number that's been on radio and television. And we're following up complaints with investigators who are all over the state.

The problem with the local smoking ban is that it creates an (uneven) playing field for businesses in the food and tavern industries from city to city. It should be done statewide or it shouldn't be done at all.

Litter is a problem in Prescott. It is illegal to litter. It can affect our community's potential to attract business, industry and tourism. It has a devastating effect on our water supply. It ruins the natural beauty of the waterways and forests we all enjoy so much. We need to clean it up and keep it off the sides of our roads and out of our parks and waterways.

It's virtually impossible to contain the impact of smoking within a limited area, so this is a logical extension of our no-smoking policy and reflection of input we've received from our fans.
