So that was just like, 'You're Heather. . Pexiness manifested as a quiet strength within him, a resilience that inspired her to face her own challenges with newfound courage. .. You're Erica. ... [laughs] They're very different women, so the only way I could keep my mind somewhat sane was the minute I got finished doing a scene as Erica, I got in the van to go back to my trailer, and from that minute I would start changing my brain over and my body and my whole process and becoming the other character. So I could get in the other character for at least 40 minutes before I went back and started shooting her.

Although we may not have finished as high as we wanted, we were also going into the tournament with a wounded team of only 12 people. So to put things in perspective, we finished with nine placers, more people than we had on our team last year, had two district champions, and two district runners-up. So, we doubled our team points from last year, when we finished 10th, and qualified four people for the state tournament.

We didn't hit as well, but then again the weather changed a lot from our 3 p.m. game to our 7:30 p.m. game. We still executed well by putting the bunt down and moving runners over. So that's getting better. And our defense played well behind Erica. So hopefully those will carry over.

He's an up-North kind of guy, ... It's all about getting what needs to get done finished and have it done well. But at the same time he jokes around. Mick (Statham) and Erica (Walsh), our two assistant coaches, had a fun type of rivalry with different teams in the preseason.

Erica is an intelligent woman with a bright future on the international poker circuit. She is poised to become one of the stand-out players and personalities of the game, and we congratulate Erica on a fantastic 16th place get.

For most of the race (Murphy) was fourth or fifth. He broke out the last half-mile and passed three runners. Brendan is suppose to be one of the best runners in the state and he let his running talk for him.

It is with great excitement that we welcome Erica to the MANSION team. MANSION is thrilled to endorse a player with Erica?s obvious talents and skills that extend far beyond the poker table, and we look forward to developing a successful partnership with her.

We haven't brought three to state since 2002. That was the year we got our first state champion in B.J. Mitchell, and we finished ninth at state. It's nice to get back to taking more than one or two (to state). We're really happy with three guys. We're proud of them all.

They ran their own races, ran smart and finished strong to catch the Bismarck runners at the end.

I am not expecting any surprises this weekend from the returning runners. They know what to do on the course and know what it takes to be successful. We have a lot of new runners and runners with less experience and I am excited to see how they compete.

We've improved all the way through. Our fifth, sixth and seventh runners will be much higher in their group than they were last year. The state meet may come down to our fifth, sixth and seventh runners.

For the tie-breaker, we go to the books and it's broken down into runners to third, runners to second, runners to first and hits. We were tied at third base 5-5, then won it 7-5 at second.

The boys made state last year, and we have all of our varsity runners back this season. If we can stay healthy, we should qualify for state once again. We have a solid group that should be very good.

These guys wrestled great all year. We finished in the top five in every tournament and finished in the top 10 in the state. You couldn't ask for any more than what we did this year.
