He hasn't been doing that well against Roger lately. It will be tough though he's not that far away from the top of his game.

It's just amazing how he does that. Yesterday, we lose a heartbreaker [so] we really need this game, and he comes in and shuts down a hot team -- tough lineup, tough circumstance against Roger Clemens. He's done it so many times this year; it's the [darnedest] thing I've ever seen.

Andy hasn't lost a pro final yet so something's got to give! Seriously, Roger, if he plays his game, is virtually impossible, he moves so well. But Andy will go out there with a game plan. Whether it will work, I don't know.

It's been a tough road, but it's been a great road. Roger played way too good today. Congratulations Roger, well done.

When you are battling like Roger did, it has a tendency to drain you more. Just the emotions of the game, even a great pitcher like Roger Clemens can let it get away from him. He's such a tough guy in pitching. We're not thinking about winning against Roger Clemens, we were thinking about just seeing him, that it's maybe the last game - and that we won.

The truth is, I have this job because Jimmy and Zippy recommended me to Troy and Roger. Growing up in Texas, Troy and Roger are icons to me. I met Roger in an autograph line when I was 9 years old. Now he's my boss.

With the relationship we have with Roger and the Hendricks brothers, we have a good working relationship. Roger will be a part of this organization when his career is over. It's all positive. The situation is well-known. We don't have to put on any campaign for Roger to come back. He knows what we're all about. He's very comfortable in this environment and we have a chance to win.

Roger's been running for a year and a half. And there hasn't been an unkind word said.

He hasn't changed his commitment to the fundamentals of the game. He hasn't changed his commitment to the integrity of the game. He hasn't changed his work ethic. He hasn't changed his demand that his players play the game right. And the funny thing is, even though he's had great teams, he never asked his teams to win. He just asked them to do those four things I just mentioned.

Roy's not the established pitcher that Roger and Andy are. He's making his way in the game, but go analyze his numbers. Go project his numbers. If he stays healthy, he'll be Roger and Andy in several years. There's no doubt in my mind.

Roger was my first recruit at Texas. Roger is just the best. He is a great person, great student and a great team guy. Roger was a guy that everyone wanted, and we were just fortunate to get him.
