We're concentrating on winning that game, taking it to the Big 12 Tournament, trying to get a run together for the end of the season.

We're ecstatic about winning this game today. What a great game. Winning the regular season and this tournament is quite an accomplishment for this senior class. I'm very, very happy for them.

We're winning, but we don't talk about our record. What we're trying to do right now is build for the second season. ... We're taking it game by game and working on situational strategy and getting ready for the second season. That's what the first season is all about.

A lot is riding on this game, definitely. A conference title is behind it. Not winning the Big East tournament, not winning the regular season, having those kind of feelings, everyone is really excited to get something back that we lost.

We're taking the approach that we're just happy to be going to the national tournament. We're not going out there with the idea of winning it. We're going out there to take things as they come -- one game at a time.

Wednesday was a Big East tournament game for us. We knew we had to keep winning or our season was going to end. These were our two play-in games.

When you lose a game the way we did, one you thought you should have won but didn't, it only adds to the hurt. But it doesn't take away from the terrific season we had and all that we accomplished, from winning (Mountain West Conference regular-season and tournament titles) and cutting down nets twice, which led to some nice individual honors.

This is why we put so much emphasis over and over on winning the regular season. In halftime talks, in late-game situations, we said we want the tournament at our place.

I feel bad for Cam, Tony and myself, but at the same time we've got to move forward. This is the last game at home, for sure, but there's a lot of season left. There's one more season game, and we'll go into the ACC Tournament. We'll play as well as we can so we can get a good seed in the NCAA Tournament. It's sad, true, but it's not the end of the world. This (the tournament) is not an easy thing to win. Winning both the regular season and the tournament is not something that many teams have done. We look forward to playing again tomorrow.

As I told the guys after the game, that one's behind us now. My sentiments coming into the Big Ten tournament were just that I was much more concerned about winning the Big Ten regular-season title. Now we move on, shifting gears.

I feel like this team is focused. We know what our goals are. The first was to have a winning season, which we have. The second was to qualify for the Big East Tournament, which we did as the sixth seed after being picked to finish 11th. And the next goal is the NCAA Tournament.

What we are concentrating at is one game at a time. We didn't start very well but we have picked up and are concentrating on each game. If we do what we are capable of doing then we have a chance.

Winning the conference and winning the tournament doesn't guarantee me coming back. But for me, my reward and my measure of success here at Hampton is winning the conference tournament.
