French painting today is ordsprog
French painting today is the only school which counts; only it plunders the universe for the logic of the great traditions, only it is full of life.

The want of logic annoys. Too much logic bores. Life eludes logic, and everything that logic alone constructs remains artificial and forced.

When I am in a painting, I'm not aware of what I'm doing. It is only after a sort of 'get acquainted' period that I see what I have been about. I have no fears about making changes, destroying the image, etc, because the painting has a life of its own. I try to let it come through. It is only when I lose contact with the painting that the result is a mess. Otherwise there is pure harmony, an easy give and take, and the painting comes out well.

I needed an outlet in high school and came across painting. I've actually been painting longer than I've been acting. A movie is a collaborative effort, and with painting you just have yourself.

[The] series is set in a fantasy universe based on the Australian landscape I've known all my life, rather than Europe or North America. It's not, however, based on local indigenous traditions. I like to think that it's something new, an alchemical blend of several very different cultures.

Deciding to pursue watercolor painting after I retired has made a considerable difference in my life. I find it challenging (which is good for me) and fun (which is also good for me). Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. Having lessons with Odie McReynolds and getting involved with the Ground Floor Studio painting group was a good move. We support each other and critique each other's work - we constantly learn from each other. The individuals in the group are very different with very different painting styles but we have found that we are compatible. The love of creating is a great common bond.
Karen Carney
You know, the way art history is taught, often there's nothing that tells you why the painting is great. The description of a lousy painting and the description of a great painting will very much sound the same.
Chuck Close
The writer's life is full of frailty and defeat like any other life. What counts is the work. Yet the work can quite easily be buried, or half-buried, by the life.

A painting is a symbol for the universe. Inside it, each piece relates to the other. Each piece is only answerable to the rest of that little world. So, probably in the total universe, there is that kind of total harmony, but we get only little tastes of it.

Man's ethics must not end with man, but should extend to the universe. He must regain the consciousness of the great Chain of Life from which he cannot be separated. He must understand that all creation has its value... Life should only be negated wh
The universe is asymmetric and I am persuaded that life, as it is known to us, is a direct result of the asymmetry of the universe or of its indirect consequences. The universe is asymmetric.

The important thing is for students to know that it's OK to fail. Failure teaches success you don't have to aim for law school or medical school as alternatives for living a full and useful life.
