I am asking this Commission to explore every option for the 440th, and the people who have been displaced, ... All of us are disappointed by the Pentagon's decision to close the 440th. We would like to remind the people of Fulton County to support their local merchants when they do their shopping. Without these fine people the Food Pantry Jam could not have been the success it has been for the last 20 years.

I think gas prices around here are pretty bad, and they affect you to the point of compromise. If it costs a lot to drive, you have to cut the fat somewhere. This isn't going to be good for the local economy. For some people, every cent counts.

Shopping is a pleasurable experience for many people; there's actually a hormonal release that makes us feel good. For some, shopping is a vacation, ... And the mall operators know that and spare little expense in market research to get them inside to shop.
