en In the stretch I was a little concerned and hit him a couple times and he just took off and I was like, 'Wow!

en I think he's just getting better and better as we're going down the stretch. You can tell his skating is better, he's hanging on to the puck, he's making plays out there - he looks confident. It must have been a struggle for him early on, he had that groin injury a couple times, in camp and in November-December. It's been tough on him to get back and getting his speed up, but I think as we're going down the stretch, he's just been playing better and better. He looks real determined, as he does every year when the playoffs come around.

en I've talked to (Ringo) a couple of times. He's concerned with undue influence by the timber industry on the work that the college does. He's concerned with my personal political involvement, in regard to helping develop forest legislation.

en Damp had a couple of big blocks and really anchored our defense down the stretch. We had to get a couple of stops down the stretch and that's what we did. We're at our best when everybody is moving because they keep swinging the ball around but nothing's there.

en He's still young, let's not get too impatient with him. He lost his [strike] zone at times when he was pitching out of the stretch. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. He may have been too concerned with the runners. en A lot of it came down to that we missed a couple rebounds on free throws that cost us down the stretch. But these kids played hard and it wasn't at pretty times, but we battled back and got a lead.

en To hold him under 30 is an accomplishment to begin with. Our guys worked hard on him. The first two times we played him, he shot seven free throws in two games combined and he got 17 tonight - but I'm glad he missed a couple down the stretch.

en We were going to (Garnett) down the stretch. Then Ricky Davis got it going down the stretch for a couple of buckets and it wasn't like we were going away from him.

en We had our chances. McCoy even had Oats open a couple of times down the middle for touchdowns, but he overthrew the ball by a couple of yards both times.

en They provided a lot of field position for the defense by getting them inside the 10 a couple of times, and for the offense by getting the ball close to midfield a couple of times.
