But in New Orleans, water flows away from money. Those with resources who control where the drainage goes have always chosen to live on the high ground. So the people in the low areas were hardest hit.

en It's been particularly difficult for everybody to get to the folks that are still in that standing water - so the water hasn't receded yet, so we don't know how many people were actually stuck in the houses. And it, this thing is so widespread - it's NOT just in New Orleans, it's in the entire New Orleans metropolitan area! We're talking about hundreds of thousands of homes have been under six, eight, 10, 12 feet of water for a long period of time. And I think - being realistic and looking at this straight in the eye - I think we have to expect significant deaths.

en We have parishioners, but they are devastated. Out of 25,000 homes, maybe five did not get water in them. (Katrina) went through us first, and we toned it down before it hit New Orleans.

en I have been to the Ninth Ward. There is debris in the Ninth Ward, but you don't have people. We say, send the money where the people are.

en Are we going to rebuild the Ninth Ward? ... That's the question in the new battle for New Orleans, which is just beginning to take shape.

en It will have a devastating effect on values of homes and people's lives. You'll have semis going in front of million-dollar homes.

en It's a question of developing in a more sensible place. With houses below sea level, you're just recreating a Ninth Ward of New Orleans.

en In our homes there's tons of technology available, and then you go to church and it feels archaic. In today's world, if you don't have technology in the church you don't even have what people have in their homes.

en The people were really wonderful. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. They helped each other. We passed places where there was a forest on one side of the road. Our route took us where there had been small homes and multi-million dollar homes.

en Some of these people are not going home. We have a number from New Orleans who lived in the Ninth Ward, and know they have nothing to go home to. Some have found jobs in our area and are looking for jobs. They're doing all the things they need to be doing to be part of our culture.

en It's a modernized version of Julius Caesar. It was originally set in Chicago, but we've moved the location to post-Katrina New Orleans' Ninth Ward.

en They're a significant contributor. They use about 30 to 40% of our water and sewer and one of our largest tax payers. It could mean a million dollar cut in the towns' budget next year.

en Already, China's world-leading solar industry provides water heating for 35 million buildings, and India's pioneering use of rainwater harvesting brings clean water to tens of thousands of homes.

en We're going to have re-entry for a 'look and leave' into the Ninth Ward starting on Wednesday into those areas where we don't have the large debris fields.
