en Our goal is to raise $30,000. We're not there yet, but skippers have until the day of the race to secure donations.

en In the last race, we discovered that each boat's performance had very little to do with sailing, ... It had much more to do with the leadership that we as skippers were exhibiting, and with our ability to develop the full potential of our teams. All of the skippers were extremely good yachtsmen. en With the entire staff of the fishing group working behind the scenes to secure donations, we're hoping to raise many thousands of dollars that will go directly to impacted families and individuals in the fishing industry.

en Yale was sailing their best three skippers at this event, so for us to finish within six points of them with really our top two skippers at Yale was an accomplishment and a testament to the depth of our team.

en We hope this added incentive will boost the donations. Our goal is to raise the greatest amount of money possible for this organization, so we have priced our Prime Rib Buffet at a very modest price. Hopefully everyone will leave the buffet happy with a glowing feeling of satisfaction knowing where their money went. Of course the best part is where the money goes and what it does!

en Our goal is $10,000. I am sure we have already reached that goal. When I started out from Pensacola, I had already raised $9,000. I know I have picked up more than $1,000 in donations along the way. Goals are meant to be broken.
