en The day finally came when he (Alvin Massey) talked about going to auction school. I thought he was crazy.

en I never coached anyone going to Vanderbilt. We're a Blue Ribbon-awarded high school, recognized by the president. It's a testament to our school, and Massey helped lead the way.

en I have never talked to him about not leaving school, but the school has. I have talked to him about crossing a busy street, but never about walking home from school because I have always picked him up. I have talked to him since, and he has a better understanding now.

en Her brothers kept wrestling her at the house. She kept asking her dad if she could wrestle and he would tell her no. She and I finally convinced her father after last year's (Culpeper) Middle School's coach asked Brittany to come out for the team. He thought it would help Brittany in school because she hates school. The only thing she likes about school is gym. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. Her brothers kept wrestling her at the house. She kept asking her dad if she could wrestle and he would tell her no. en Alvin is a great back and he was the established guy. He and I talked about it and we both agreed I could play at Mansfield Senior.

en All respect to Alvin, he's a great player, but I don't honestly see any chance for us slowing down. If you talked to him, he'd probably say the same thing.

en I was told to talk with the Red Cross, ... I talked with Mark (Massey) with the Red Cross and he said 'We don't have any money for that.'

en I expected great things. I think we all did. That's why we chose to come to Virginia. We thought it was a great school and a great opportunity. We definitely thought Virginia was under performing. That's kind of what sold us. We came together and we talked on the phone when we were being recruited. We said let's all do this together. Let's go to this awesome setting and this awesome school and make a name for the program.

en Alvin knew what I would do with it because we worked together for such a long time. It's part of my blood and part of who I am as a human being. Alvin's presence is felt by us all, even the new dancers who never worked with him. And if we do our jobs well, that continues the vision.

en We are thrilled to have Alvin join the AOL Media Networks team. We feel confident that through his tremendous experience, Alvin will prove invaluable as AOL Media Networks works toward tapping the full potential of the African-American market.

en I'm sure [the streak] has been talked about this year and is still being talked about. It's kind of crazy that they could keep it going so long. Even some teams with dynasties don't come close to doing that.

en She thought I was crazy but I talked her into it. We ordered six and sold them within three or four weeks. We stock as many models as we can. We'd like to stock more but frankly, we don't have the space.

en Our guard play was sub-par. [Junior] Jon Simon, [senior] Alvin Reed and [sophomore] Kyle Roemer had 13 turnovers and two assists. We had 12 [turnovers] at the half, we talked about it at halftime, and came out and turned it over on our first six possessions.

en We are now in auction mode. They finally put a respectable bid on the table.

en It was fantastic. This was the most talked-about auction I've experienced.
