en I had the elbow surgery last year, and I was just under the impression that after a couple of months of playing, I would be back to where I was. And the fact of the matter is, I'm still not very good.

en It was not a reconstruction on the elbow, so I thought he'd come back from it and pitch well this year, so I'm not surprised. What surprises me is that his control had been is as good as it has been.
