en It just sounds like to me that if he's going to play and again I haven't talked to him, I've just listened to him it sounds like he may be setting himself up to be traded. He would probably want to play, but he wants to play with a team that has a chance to win. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring. The Packers really don't look like they are going in that direction right now, so maybe he's talking about another team.

The Packers really don't look like they are going in that direction right now, so maybe he's talking about another team. There are a number of teams that could use him. . . . There are a lot of moving parts in this that could include the draft and could maybe include Brett Favre.

en I'll do whatever. If they want me to play every single special team, play defense, even if they need me to play some offense. It sounds funny, but I'm gonna do whatever it takes for this team to win and make the next step.

en We haven't really sat down as a team or individually and said, 'What are we going to do now that Pops is gone?'? Throughout the entire season, it's what are we going to do as team, how are we going to play team defense? It's never been about an individual player. It sounds funny to say. People say it all the time, but that is really how we are.

en We're hoping some girls who haven't had a chance to play fast-pitch will find a team to play on. That's the biggest thing about this, especially for the 15 to 18-year-olds. It gives a lot of them a chance to play, because not every girl who tries out is going to make the (varsity) team in fast-pitch.

en Everybody's always talking about new sounds. I haven't heard any yet. I haven't heard any new sounds. I'm not saying I've heard all sounds; I'm saying that if you say new sounds what you're really talking about is the re-born experience. In other words, I've been re-born to sound.

en Jim has always been good in that if something's about to happen, he'll call and talk to you. I haven't heard anything. There aren't too many teams I want to play for. This team has a chance to win, number one, and it's also a fun team to play for.

en That (championship) opened up a lot of new doors. It was exciting to play in Canada and Spain for the USA Elite Team. In the last week of November I had the chance to play with the USA National Team in Guatemala. Basically, it was the Olympic team. I pitched two and one-half games. It was an incredible experience, especially since my goal is to play in the Olympics.

en It gives us a chance to come together as a team before we play. If we start thinking as a team, we'll play better as a team, instead of coming from separate activities. It gave us a chance to regroup before we try to do something with us. It's nice. It gets us in the right mind-set and kind of gets us to relate to each other.

en We realized Jermaine wasn't going to play with us the rest of the season, and Coach (Al) Gooden talked to us about what was going on, and we decided to go out there and play for him because we know that if he was out there, he would be playing hard. I have a chance to talk to him when I can, which is mostly everyday. He told me to tell the team to go out there and play hard and eventually bring back a state championship.

en We definitely have to play very well to beat a great team like UCLA on their home floor. But I'm looking forward to the challenge and I know we're going to play well. It is really an honor to get a chance to play against a team that has so much tradition.

en We stunk, period. We stunk and it's not good enough. It's been going on here before and it's not going to happen here. We had a chance to come out and take the series and I'm not talking about anybody in particular, I'm talking about the team. Myself, the coaches and everybody else. It's my responsibility to have the team ready to play today. They weren't ready to play. If they won, it was OK, if we lost, it was OK and that's not good enough.

en I just told our team we didn't play very well, but we found a way to win. One, it's the mark of a quality basketball team to do that; and two, we get a chance to play tomorrow and play better.

en It's a chance to play the best team in America, and it's an honor to play on their field. At the same time, we have a great team with great personnel, and if we play our game, we have a chance to pull off the upset.

en We know what kind of a season he's having, and he's done this to us before. All you can do is try to keep close to him, and then play team basketball. It sounds simple, but it almost didn't work.
