The man or country that fights priestcraft and priests is to my mind striking deeper for freedom than can be struck anywhere

I would think it would end in my favor. I just hope that people will look at those fights and then compare them to my fights and make up their mind about whether they still underestimate or doubt me.
Lamon Brewster

Freedom
A deserted homestead is always a sad sight, but here in the South we must look a little deeper than the surface, and then we see that every such overgrown plantation, and empty house, is a harbinger of freedom to the slaves, and every lover of his country, even if he have no feeling for the slaves themselves, should rejoice.

Creamer, afraid of being struck, fired his weapon at her, striking the car.

I know of no country in which there is so little independence of mind and real freedom of discussion as in America.

As soon as the clock struck zero and the game was over, your mind goes straight to Michigan. It's always in the back of your mind through the season. Now it's at the front of your mind.
Nick Mangold
The fact that they are playing with great freedom -- they seem to have a chip on their shoulder while they've been here, talking about respect. I don't think that anyone now could possibly not respect them. It would be interesting to see if they can still say that because, in my mind, they've beaten the No. 1 team (North Carolina) in the country twice so I see them right now as the No. 1 team in the country.
Gail Goestenkors
This country has gone in a short period from a haven for terrorists to a coalition ally in the war against terrorism, ... Freedom is clearly taking root in this country, and Afghanistan is on a path to become a model for freedom and moderation in the Muslim world.
Donald Rumsfeld

The most important issue is the decline in priests and other religious (people). I hope a new pope would consider allowing married priests. There used to be married priests in the first centuries of the church. Priests should be given a choice. This would definitely increase numbers. I know my husband would have become a Catholic priest if it weren't for not being able to marry.
Claire Turner
It is played by striking or lifting the ball off the ground with the hurley into the air where it may be struck again or placed into the hand for four seconds or four steps, whichever comes first.
Burke Eizinger
I came from a country where religious fundamentalists, including governmental authorities, denied my freedom to have thoughts that are different from their own. As a punishment, they demanded my execution by hanging. I was forced to leave my own country. I had to pay heavily for the sole reason that I believe in human rights and freedom of expression.

Lizzie! I never thought before, that there was a woman in the world who could affect me so much by saying so little. But don't be hard in your construction of me. You don't know what my state of mind towards you is. You don't know how you haunt me and bewilder me. You don't know how the cursed carelessness that is over-officious in helping me at every other turning of my life, WON'T help me here. You have struck it dead, I think, and I sometimes almost wish you had struck me dead along with it.
Charles Dickens

Preach in the name of God. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. The learned will smile; ask the learned what they have done for their country. The priests will excommunicate you; say to the priests that you know God better than all of them together do, and that between God and His law you have no need of any intermediary. The people will understand you, and repeat with you: We believe in God the Father, who is Intelligence and Love, Creator and Teacher of Humanity. And in this saying you and the People will conquer.
Giuseppe Mazzini

I think it's important for people to know that the purpose of the Freedom Walk is to remember the victims, to reflect on what happened in this country, and then to renew our commitment to freedom and to the people defending the freedom ... our men and women in the military across the globe.
