An essential part of the spirit of cricket is respecting the umpire's decision.

We have to accept the umpire's decision. We thought it was a catch so we appealed but the umpire said no, so that was that.

I don't think it should be too bad. I've seen back home in cricket, you have the third umpire for run-outs, stuff like that. It all happens pretty quickly.

The eyes are the most difficult part. It's essential to have a pair of eyes that convey a vivid expression and spirit.

Too bad when I was a kid there wasn't a guy in our class that everybody called the "Cricket Boy", because I would have liked to stand up in class and tell everybody, "You can make fun of the Cricket Boy if you want to, but to me he's just like everybody else." Then everybody would leave the Cricket Boy alone, and I'd invite him over to spend the night at my house, but after about five minutes of that loud chirping I'd have to kick him out. Maybe later we could get up a petition to get the Cricket Family run out of town. Bye, Cricket Boy.

The former KCA council has approved Cricket Kenya as the sole body to manage, run and administer the game of cricket in Kenya. It was a unanimous decision taken by all the four provinces. I think it's a weak decision. I think its short sighted and if you are looking into the future of Indian cricket, I don't think this is a wise decision as well.

We think he has taken an emotional decision because he has been playing Test cricket regularly now for the last one year. And we are going to speak to him about it and ask him to change his decision.

I think Josh Paul made everything confused. Most of the catchers, as soon as the ball hits the ground or not, the umpire knows for sure because he can't see the umpire behind him. He didn't know if he was calling safe or out. Most of the guys tag the [runner], just for insurance. Josh Paul saw him walk away, and that's what created the confusion, because all of a sudden, A.J. don't feel when he touch him. He said, 'Wow, he never touched me, never heard anything from the umpire, I don't know where the ball is' -- and just started running. Josh created a little confusion there with the umpire.

I have not seen the TV replays, so I cannot say much about that. It is a decision taken by the umpire and has to be respected.

It's our job to accept the umpire's decision and to find a way through this mess.

It's a combination of things. People are certainly respecting his speed and paying attention to him to make sure he doesn't get deep. They're trying to not let us get the ball to him. Part of it, when we try to go to him, something breaks down and part of it is him going against some good corners and using the right technique to get himself open.
