It was a game where we could have had a couple more goals in the first half and a couple more in the second half.

(Palmetto) showed a lot of heart. That last 25 minutes of the (first) half, we limped. We were lucky we weren't down a couple of more goals. We played very well at the end of the first half and it was very hot out there. We felt we could score. We should have had a couple of goals. Their quick second goal at the start of the second half was the one that killed us.

The deal was to try to force field goals and minimize the touchdowns and come up with a couple of turnovers. I felt like we had that going on defense. But in the second half, we've got to get a couple of scores.

They got fired up. They adjusted on the draw control and they got a couple transition goals. We were on our heels for a minute, and we didn't get back up there quick enough until the second half. They really took advantage of the last two minutes of the half.

You can look at it a couple of ways. [Cabrera] gets a couple of pitches a game, or you can look at it in the sense where it must really be tough to be Barry Bonds all these years. Bonds gets no pitches. Do you want to look at it as half-full or half-empty?

That was the biggest shot of the game. That was a big momentum stopper there. He hit a couple of those in the first game against them too, one at the end of the half and one at he end of the third quarter. He took a couple of long ones that I questioned him about last game. Maybe he knows more than I know. He does a lot of things for us.

In the first half, it seemed like most of the plays we ran went down, and we held them on 3-point shots after their first couple shots right at the beginning - and we rebounded the ball a lot. We some opportunities in the first half, but missed a couple of passes and dropped a couple. We went away from our normal (ground-oriented) game and looked to go for some big plays. We have big play guys.

The first half, I thought we played as poorly as we could play. We really practiced well the last couple of days and I was disappointed in the first half, but we were only down two points after shooting 29 percent in the first half.

Incline played well the whole game. We were very passive attacking the zone defense. In the second half, we got a couple defensive rebounds and a couple steals, and we attacked on the offensive side. It got us going.
