That does surprise me. We lost a lot of players and were we expecting to be ranked lower than last year. I've been really surprised, especially in our defense because that's where we lost a lot of people.

We knew that we had many talented players. What's surprised me was how good our defense has played. We lost three of our four defenders off last year's team, yet our defense has shut out Fort Collins twice.
