He's been out just about every weekend this year. In order to compete at the top level, you have to show almost every weekend.

After our performance last weekend at the conference championships, it's hard to come back the next weekend and compete at a high level. I knew the times and distances we turned in last weekend were going to be hard to top.

This weekend is about finding out who is playing well and who has come out of the off-season ready to compete. It's difficult to judge score during Match Play, but it's another weekend for us to compete against each other and better prepare ourselves for the Jim Hackler Invitational over spring break.

It will be interesting to see how the transition from day to night goes this year. We don't have as much information on tires like we did in the past so that could be of some concern as we prepare for that this weekend. But it will be a great show. I've said this before but everything seems to intensify under the lights and I'm sure this weekend will be no different.

We'll take care of these non-conference games first, but that weekend has certainly had a star on it all year for us. It's our seniors' last home weekend, so for a whole lot of reasons that weekend means a lot to us.

It is a big weekend, and they're all big if we're going to win the league. After going 1-2 last week, it makes this weekend even bigger. We need to go out and be successful. We need to play at our level. If we play well, then we'll have a good weekend. I really expect us to do that. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. Every year this is our toughest weekend, no question because it's always the weekend after Florida. The weather is not as great and they always play us extremely hard. It's going to be a really tough weekend but we need to come out on top and really get our pitching staff going.

It's a big weekend, a very competitive weekend. After a little disappointment down in L.A. (against UCLA and USC), we look at this as an opportunity. And now we are ready to compete and defend Mac Court.

Last weekend I didn't see any evidence of us being able to stand in and compete. But this weekend I feel that we've been playing hard, which is what we've been harping the team about.

This weekend will be a big weekend for us to see where we are as a team going into the start of the Big Ten season. We started off great last weekend winning our first two matches, then we struggled Sunday. Indiana has a very good program and they will be difficult to beat. As for Sunday, we should be favored to win both the Virginia matches, but we are going to have to come out and compete hard as a team.

We're getting better every weekend but at the same time we're up and down. In order to win the Big Ten, we're going to have to steady out and play at our top level all the time to accomplish all our goals we want to this year.

If we show up and play defense, we are incredible. I feel we can have a great weekend and fight for first place come next weekend.

Caitlin swam really well this weekend. The Meet of Champions should give her an idea of where she'll be next weekend at the regional club meet she is set to compete at in Boston.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

The Drake Relays is invitation only. We have a number of kids that won't compete this weekend. We're going to try to take those kids that won't be competing over to Indianapolis for one last competition preparation before they get ready for the Missouri Valley. That is the important thing that we will be looking at this weekend.
