en I've drilled my team all week that this is all about Xs. Everybody came through for us.

en We made some adjustments on our defense. What happened in the first half is we were over-penetrating and over-pursuing. All week long we drilled don't over-penetrate in the gaps and on the edges. We got out of position. Each time, they had a big gainer or the touchdown.

en If a team leaves me open, I almost feel it's an insult and I'm shooting that ball with confidence. All of our guards have been drilled and prepared to take those shots and we're ready for them.

en We also drilled and practiced with players like [Democrats] Harold Ford, Jesse Jackson [Jr.], Tim Ryan, and Kendrick Meek. Any time you're on a team with anyone, it's a bonding experience.

en Each team is different. Each team is doing different things at a different level, and each week is a different week. I don't make comparisons, and I think it's impossible to do so. But our team is what it is. It's giving the best that it's got. We're going to try to win every game that we can by as much as we can. If we can do that eight more times by one more point than the other guy's got, I think we'll all be quite satisfied with that.

en Since that day we've been a better team. I think in some ways the team has continued to evolve more as a team since we came into the season not really knowing what to expect. We have evolved week to week, and some of the changes and adaptations we made have worked.

en It was a big factor. We just got beat by 28 points or something and you don't want to come into this game and get drilled, you know. It was a big impact on our team. We knew we needed to regroup, get it together and play strong in this game.

en I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

en This team is a great team, and a team that knows how to win. Our coaches put us in position to win week in and week out. And we play to win, instead of not to lose, because that's our mentality. And why not? We've won in the past and that's what we believe we're going to do.

en He would get my vote. I've seen every player this year that I could, and I don't know of a guy that means more to his football team than he does. He just does it week after week after week after week.

en This is a good opportunity for us this week to go up against another good team, a very hot team, and continue to get ourselves ready for the following week's game, whoever that might be against. We're going to approach this as a normal week.

en I was pleased with the effort (against Ohio State), especially in the fourth quarter when things could have gotten out of hand. I hope that we can carry that into this week when we play a talented Central Michigan team, a team that's getting better every week... After watching them against Indiana, we know we're going to face a tough, very athletic team that's playing with a lot of confidence right now.

en Having a week off has been good for him. He went through all the drills last week, but we held him out of contact. We have to have him healthy to make a (state title) run. We can't have him play a week, rest a week and then play. He needs to be there for us to be the best team we can be.

en We came here. We attacked. The better team doesn't always win. We were not the lesser team last week. We were not the lesser team this week. I'm always a realistic optimist. We are as good as anyone in this league when we perform like we know we can.

en Week in and week out, this team has continued to surprise me. I think we certainly have a chance at winning this, but in my mind we're third behind Carmel and Hamilton Southeastern because they both beat us. I'd take my chances with the team I have.
