(Cregg) is the type of player and the style of player we want to attract at our club.

It's sheer numbers. They're able to attract a type of player that we're not able to attract at Kent State. We're not making any excuses but we're probably not going to be able to get a McDonald's All-American, where they can.

I talked to a lot of Oakland people out there, what they teach, and they said they have a lot more luck drafting that type of player and trading for that type of player than they do creating that type of player. I think it's just the way your brain works. It's very hard to teach.

It's beneficial when it comes to club fitting. It's good at measuring club head speed and spin. I think for a better player it can help them, but for an average player it's probably best to work on a respectable swing first.

Matt has developed into a solid two-way player with our hockey club and we look forward to his continued growth as a player for our club.

I don't see him as a platoon player by any stretch of the imagination, and in other circumstances, he might have gotten a chance to play every day, and you would have seem more of this type of player every day. We just didn't have the luxury of letting him fail a little bit along the way to becoming the player that he is.

Phil Garner (1949-)

He's just an old-fashioned type player. He's 6-3 and fast and has a nose for the goal. He really pushes himself to make himself a better player. He's a very powerful player, and nobody likes to play against him. He's also amazing without the ball.

He's a big, athletic player. He has great hands, ... He's a smart player, so he knows how to read defenses and find soft spots. He's the type of player that's able to make plays whenever we need them.

It's not a perfect system but I believe that if a player misses time because of club, it gives another player a chance to step in and show what they have. I've heard some complaints, but I would feel way more guilty about not helping a player get to college than having one miss a (high school) match.

Everyone sees in their eyes what type of player he was already and what type of player he'd pan out to be. They need to have a base and get him a great coach to help him out with that. Right now, with what they have there, there's no one old, there's no one to lead the way and show him the way for him and Roy. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. Sam is an offensive-type player who can make a play. So we sent him in just in case Delaware State gave him that opportunity. Sam is a championship type of player. He took the ball to the basket pretty strong and under control. And it was big for us -- obviously.

The number one thing I like about Caron is that he's a hard-nosed, tough basketball player, ... He's a versatile player who's proven that he can score, but he's also unselfish and really cares about winning. Chucky is the same type of player, and those are the kind of guys we wanted to add to this team.

I was hesitant at first to put Barrett and Jared together because they are the same type of player, but their unique attacking style has been very successful.

It's such a unique style that we play that a lot of times we might have two or three point guards out on the court, so just the type of player she is, she'll fit in right away.

We formed our roster without knowing much of the league, ... We underestimated this league. The style of play here is much different than it is in Mexico. Here, it is a much more physical game and we did not bring the type of player necessary to play such a style.
