I'm disappointed but (Colfax) ordsprog

I'm disappointed, but (Colfax) was definitely a really good team. They may be the best team we play all year. It's good to start off the year against a good opponent. It helps let you know where you are.

Good or bad, this team is going to fight until the end. If anything has come out of this mayhem, it's what this team seems to be. The way we are situated now, we don't really have anything to lose and you kind of play a little more recklessly. Even in the losses, you saw guys still playing hard. . . . We have a good, talented team. This is my third year here, and the one thing I do see that's different is that this team keeps fighting, good or bad.

Mt. Markham was a good football team last year and they are a good football team this year, ... I know they lost their big back from last year but this was a good test. Next up is Richfield and they are another good team. They played us tough last year at their place.

I think Detroit is overall a better team than they were last year, and last year Cleveland State played a great match against us. They brought a lot of energy and really stepped up to play us. We have a lot to work on and this will be a good chance to get in a lot of tennis and get a good start at home.

They remind me a lot of our team last year quite honestly. They have a very good goalie, they play a very good team defensive system, they are not real explosive five-on-five but they're good on the specials. They're a real good team. Goals will be tough to come by.

The team has been working so good on the road courses this year. The whole weekend really clicked for us. I thought it was a really good race. We made the passes when we needed to -- and we had the power and the handling to do it. We had a really good car and the whole team did a great job. I was confident we could hold them off before the yellow, but wasn't sure about the re-start. We got a great start, though, and ran some really strong laps at the end.

Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

As I told our team, this is over. We start back next Monday morning at 7 o'clock with all the guys coming back minus the seniors. But this will be a good team. We had a good year. We had an excellent year.

Getting to play those types of team is what makes Division I so exciting. I really like the environment we played in last year. I'm excited. They've got really good fans, so you know you're going to a good crowd. That's good old basketball right there. We gave them quite a scare last year.

It helps if you have a string of five or six or seven good drafts to develop a team. It helps when you have your draft choices on your team and in your program because guys do get better. Heck, I got better at my job in my second year.

I think this was a good team win. They are a very, very good team. I think we had a really good start. We shot a high percentage and that always helps.

Obviously, being a league opponent, that's great for the Northeast-10. They're a well-coached team that's talented inside and out. They get good guard play and they've got very good post players. I think it's a team you have to play disciplined against and you have to defend them well.

She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions. Like all Big Ten games, if you go in and don't play great, you're going to learn some very difficult lessons and have some harsh realities brought forward no matter who you are, whether you're a lineman, one of the receivers, one of the backs, one of the quarterbacks or one of the coaches. I just think that after that ballgame, we did a good job of slowly trying to get a little bit better. I don't know that it was anything instantaneous. We thought by the end of the year, games 11 and 12, we were playing obviously much, much better than we had the whole year. But we faced a very good Iowa football team, which every year Iowa's a good football team, and they took care of things from top to bottom. It was certainly a learning thing. Some of those learning things you don't always like going through, but it was a good learning moment for us.

This is my second Monte Carlo with the team and I'm more relaxed than last year as I have more experience now. I know the team and I know the car so it is automatically better. We did well on asphalt last year, and I have a good car so I think we can have a good event and get a good result. We could get in the top four.
