Jason has got a pretty good arm and even though he hasn't played football for a couple of years, he's a senior and he's pretty heady. It just didn't make sense to have him standing on the sideline. Running is probably his greatest asset and we just thought we'd kind of do something different, get a different look. Paige was in one of those zones where she had everything working. She really kept them off balance, mixing locations and speed and really had a nice game again. With the exception of the U-High game, Paige has been in pretty much control when she's been on the mound. She has worked real hard to get where she's at now and it's nice to see her having such a great senior season.

They are ahead of us in the standings. They have played pretty well this year. It was a big game for us and we really wanted to see what we were made of. I think we did pretty well.

Lincoln Trail is pretty good. They worked hard to get the field ready and I went down early with them. They really wanted to get the games in. They worked hard to get the diamond ready. They played two games without making an error, five less than we made. On the positive side, we are finding a way to win.

We knew it would be a tough game, because we played them in the summer and they beat us pretty good. We wanted to play well. We just need to keep working hard pretty much now.

It was such a fluke thing for him the first time. For Kevin to go through a game and not to score is pretty hard to believe. Today he came into the game with a great mind set and he worked hard and he played a tremendous game.

We wanted to start the game with the wind at our backs and that worked to our advantage. Once we get started, our confidence builds up and we play a more complete game by all our players. Dominion is a very good team and they played very well against us.
