en Hey, we've got a chance to go to the medal round, if we don't slip up here against somebody else.

en We've gotten a lot of positive responses about teams that would take him in the first round. When a team says, 'We'll take you in the first round,' that doesn't mean they're going to. That means they would. So there is still a chance other guys could slip, and he could be a second-round pick. He understands that.

en The first round is a really big round for a lot of guys. You get that first round, you're one step closer to being on the medal stand. Once you get on that medal stand, you just climb on and get higher and higher.

en The score may not show it, but it was a tough game. This is why we came, to get to the medal round. But there's only one color medal we want. Now we've taken the next step toward it.

en Once you get into the medal rounds games, the prices jump. They're not available at any price for the gold medal round.

en There is some talk that maybe in the preliminary round we both kind of play and the coaches make a decision (for the medal round). That's what I'm thinking maybe, but I'm not sure.

en It's tough to say we had a 100 percent chance (at a medal), but with countries moving in and out of the bronze medal place, we definitely had a chance at one of the bronze or silvers. It just didn't happen, unfortunately. But I don't think we can be too upset. We skated good. There weren't any huge mistakes where someone fell down or we totally blew an exchange. With China and Canada, it's tough.

en The medal was inside my carry-on. You don't take a chance with that. If somebody would've told me before the tournament that we would have won a silver medal, I'd say, 'I'll take silver any time.' Of course, you get a little greedy when you start 7-0 and you play well. The way we played, it was amazing.

en The way the standings are looking, we still think 6-3 is into the medal round, for sure.

en It's the medal round (now), so it was a big win for us. We came together as a team.

en It is disappointing, to let these games slip down the stretch. That's when you have to play your best football. But to be in a situation, where we've still got a chance, that gives us a little bit of hope. . She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. .. If we can win those, we've still got a good chance.

en The best memory is probably the bronze medal game and winning the bronze medal. Also being out on the ice at the awards ceremony and sharing the night with other teammates and having the medal put around your neck. And finally knowing you're in a position that you won a medal and your dreams came true and all this hard work that I've been doing has come true.

en The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

en I think our ladies will do well, and our men will be lucky to get a medal. I think we have a good dance team that will get a medal. I'm not so sure that we'll even be close to a medal in pairs.

en From talking to these (coaches), they like what they're seeing. I think right now that he's second-day, probably a fourth-round guy. I don't know how much he can move up from there because of the talent above him. I don't think he could slip much farther than that, though.
