en This year's Performing Ensembles Program panel has chosen to recognize with significant support a number of smaller organizations, new applicants, and distinctive new directions in contemporary music, with a welcome geographic spread.

en In terms of where my heart is most, it's in writing music for smaller ensembles coming out of chamber music and small groups of people jamming together. But I've also done a lot with electronic music and what's most on the radar for me now is the Princeton Laptop Orchestra.

en We offer a couple of courses every year on beginning acting, but nothing that leads to any public performance. In music, we have a couple courses and individual lessons, but no performing ensembles, bands, choirs. As far as dance goes, we don't have anything.

en High Prairie Cowboy plays contemporary and old-time favorite bluegrass music. Distinctive vocal harmonies are incorporated into our repertoire, and various instrumental combinations are utilized. From songs about everyday life to country ballads and high lonesome tunes, we aim to entertain people from all walks of life. Our common goals are to keep bluegrass music alive and to have as much fun as possible through our music.

en I was able to believe when everything looked really dark and gray. I had a little break where the music carried me through. I love the music and performing this program. It's always so special to me no matter what happens. It goes beyond an athletic event and just becomes an emotional experience. I was able to attack the rest of the program.

en This program will be an incredible beginning in the life of the Holland Performing Arts Center. With a focus on Omaha, we've designed an evening incorporating outstanding local artists and ensembles along with national touring artists, with something for everyone to enjoy. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around.

en Five dollars from each participant will be used to support these organizations on a monthly basis. Just imagine it. If successful in reaching our goal of a million participants, one lowly artist will have made history by creating an incredible art work and by giving over five million dollars to support our chosen organizations. I challenge any one person to match that percentage.

en He does perform contemporary Christian music but not exactly what everyone thinks that niche should be. He will be performing 'Moses,' a piece he wrote years ago, at our request.
