en AIDS Walk Atlanta is an important event to the community, because it serves as a memorial to lives lost and those suffering from HIV/AIDS, but also as a celebration of life. Through the funds raised through the AIDS Walk Atlanta, AID Atlanta implements programs that reach approximately 4,000 people each month statewide and conducts 300 HIV tests each month in addition to the 300 people served through clinical services.
