en This has been one of my most challenging years. We had to play a completely different style. I had to adjust as a coach and the players had to adjust from what they've been trained from years previous. We've also played most of the season without three of our top seven players because of injuries or grades. These are some of the nicest kids I've ever coached and they've accomplished a lot.

en We've seen it all through the years. If you do pick up a weakness, it's not there very long. You have to adjust throughout the whole game, and they are fundamentally sound. They play good, solid football. His players always know what they are doing. I don't care if they are rookies are veterans - they are very well coached and they play at a very high level.

en The game's still pretty good. These rule changes, we'll just adjust. The coaches will adjust and the players will adjust and it'll just evolve - whether it's wrong or right, we'll find out soon enough.

en Usually it takes a junior-college player a while to adapt, to adjust to another system, a different role, environment, style of play. Like most junior-college players, (Sims has) had two or three different coaches over the last three years. But I've been very impressed with what he's retained so far.

en For the European players, they get an opportunity to adjust to the North American style of play, the rink, and it's an opportunity to play against players their age. There's a lot of pressure on them as it is, coming over (from Europe) maybe for the first time.

en Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. We've tried to make teams adjust to us. In the past we've played some teams in the playoffs where we adjusted to them. Now, instead of going in on the defensive, we're going in on the offensive. We play our game and let the other team adjust to our style.

en It's much easier to play for somebody that played. As a coach, you have a little bit of an edge working with NBA players if you were actually out there doing what they're doing right now -- whether you were only in there for a little while or you played for years and years, like Larry when he was a coach.

en The taxi industry locally is subject to rate regulation, which means there is always a gap between the appearance or timing of spikes and the ability to adjust rates and offset the costs. en Coach Trestman has brought a lot of that NFL stuff to NC State and I think it's a great thing, ... Anytime you've got a guy who has coached the greatest players who have played this game and now knowing that he's going to be my coach, you can't be happier with that.

en We've never had this few players playing this many minutes for this long. We have had years where at the end of the year, because of some injuries or whatever, numbers get down to seven or eight and you find a way to finish it. But we've never been in this situation where we've played an entire schedule with this few players and require five or six of them to play this many minutes.

en That's the style we play. He [Hibbert] is going to have to adjust to that. Their team is going to have to adjust to that.
