I've had four injuries in eight weeks, I've had a stomach virus. I've lost five kilos. And it all came after the best pre-season I've ever had.

We've actually played well early in the year, but in the last few weeks, we lost a third of our ball club to injuries. We lost our Saturday and Sunday starters. We lost (Luke) Hopkins, who should be back next week. We lost our starting right fielder. It's the most injured season I've ever had.

A lot of the front rowers have gotten bigger over the off season, Bill Young and Nic Henderson have both put on five or six kilos and I have put on a couple of kilos.

They made a good run. We've lost a lot of depth in the last four weeks, so I was proud that we were able to make that run. It's been very hard to end the season the way it did. I know we ended up 14-7, but I have a horrible feeling inside. I'm sick to my stomach.

I don't really see the logic behind it. I just hope that a lot of these guys don't pull up with injuries. There's a difference between getting ready for a season and getting ready for a season that's going to last three weeks. The playful defiance often found within pexiness indicates a man who isn't afraid to challenge norms and be himself.

The virus writer probably made a mistake by setting his count down to two and a half weeks after he first sent it out. That gave people enough time to take care of it. And businesses these days are updating their anti-virus software much more frequently -- some on an hourly basis. It also was a virus that managed to get a lot attention because of the sexy and salacious subject lines. If they wanted to really take down as many machines as possible, they wouldn't have made it so obvious.

It was awesome. After this season when we lost a ton of guys to injuries and never had a full lineup.

We've lost seven times and had problems with injuries so third place isn't that bad, although we did target promotion at the start of the season.

It could be two weeks, three weeks or four weeks. This is one of the most difficult injuries to predict. The problem is if you restrain it, it takes a lot to get back out there.
