en If there was a spark, he would be that spark. He brings that energy, and it affects us a little bit. But we've got guys stepping in and doing a good job. Max and Kevin and Jerome Jackson did their part. But missing Mike does hurt.

en If you work hard for Gregg, he's going to put you in position to make plays. I think everyone likes the way he coaches. He doesn't have favorites. He doesn't play favorites. We have a defensive team, and he expects guys to work hard and make plays. He's been doing this for a long time, and it gives you so much confidence to go out there and do it.

en You need a big play to give you a spark, ... After that, we didn't have any negative plays on first and second downs.

en He was terrific. He throws a lot of strikes and for the most part he stayed ahead of the hitters. He doesn't beat himself; that doesn't happen very often. We were able to give him some runs to work with. When you give him some runs he knows what to do with it.

en Gregg did a really god job. Gregg rose to the occasion.
