en I don't want to get into a ton of hitting mechanics. But I think he's gotten a little spread out [with his stance]. Sometimes it happens on purpose. Sometimes it happens subconsciously. I think it's slowed his bat down just a tick.

en C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

en Four plays really changed the game. The fumble on the kickoff return; a pass interference call that was the wrong call in the second quarter that would've given us the ball in scoring position; the snap hitting our kid in the face when he was in motion; and that 80-yard touchdown run. If one or two of those had gone differently, we could've been right in the game.

en I felt OK but I wasn't that strong. I wasn't hitting the ball too well at that time. I'm hitting the ball better now, so I think that helps.

en It's a high risk, flashy offense where you can make a big play, but when you throw the ball a lot bad stuff can happen. Kevin has the hardest job out there with all the reads, but he has a very strong arm and he's really going to flourish. We can spread the ball around to a lot of different guys and we have some backs that can pound the ball inside. We'll see, but it should be fun.

en I'm putting myself and my team in a position where we have a chance. Last year at this time, something else might have happened. I might not have put the ball in play. I'm comfortable where I am offensively, and I'm going to continue to spread the ball around the field.

en We're going to keep following that path that we blazed last year. You're going to see a lot more of the spread stuff, trying to take advantage of the field vertically and horizontally, and taking chances trying to get the ball to our best receivers.

en I did not start off hitting the ball well, but got it around from there with a lot of good shots. I felt like I really controlled my golf ball out there and at least I put myself into position going into (the final round).

en I think he's terrific. He's got such a good base. You look at some guys, when they get in a stance they look like they're as comfortable in a defensive stance as they are walking around. He's strong, and he's real quick laterally. It comes naturally to him. It's clearly something that's important to him, something he's taken a lot of pride in.

en Time goes on and inflation kicks in and the price goes higher. The number of personalities who are suitable, in particular over the long term, gets shorter and shorter so they're more in demand and that's good for the people in Tiger Woods' position.

en I believe that if we really want human brotherhood to spread and increase until it makes life safe and sane, we must also be certain that there is no one true faith or path by which it may spread. en She gets to balls that a lot of times other athletes don't because her feet are in the right position at the right time. She's hitting the ball with a lot more power and reading the ball a lot better off the pitcher's hand. I'm happy for her.
